Hi all!
Been on ebay for about 15 years selling here and there... 3 years ago I started putting a little bit more efforts and energy into it and I am now a top rated seller with 100% positive feedback. I have around 400 active listings and it was going well until yesterday. I called costumer service to see if I could increase my selling limit thinking naively that the 250 free monthly listings was my limit. Well it restricted my account instead to only 100 listings and I am told I can't request another increase for 30 days. Now all of my listings set to renew are being ended and I can't list anything else. I talked to at least 5 different people and still no help in sight. I just lost my job last week and am relying on my sales on here to pay for my bills. Not sure what to do at this point I cannot wait 30 days... Is there any hope or should I just open a poshmark account and just give up?

What was the reason given fr restricting your account? The only thing I can see is you are selling lots of brand name, designer items, at low prices. eBay seems to be wary of such accounts. They likely will soon ask for receipts.

As you have learned, selling limits is not the same thing as listing limits.
Why would you think that the 250 free listings each month was your limit when you currently have over 400 listings? And now you are saying they are going to restrict you to 100 listings?? So are they requiring you to close 300 listings?
I'm so sorry to hear about your job. That is tough to deal with!!!
You have pretty decent sales on Ebay. Do you have a Store? If so, what level of a store do you have?
When a seller desires to increase their selling limits, they are allowed to request an increase once every 30 days. Mark your calendar and every 30 days request an increase until you have your selling limit well above anything you think you will ever need. Below is a link to where you can go to ask for a selling limit increase. It is the third option in the link below.
Try this link, the worst they can say is No.
