Selling limits

Dear eBay community,

I have my own toy store in the city. I started selling on eBay 2 weeks ago.

But still, I can't increase the 3 item limits. So could you please tell me guys, what should I do?

You have to start selling items with no problems before they'll raise your limits.

Have a great day.

Selling limits

The only way to increase your sales limit is through successful sales. It takes time.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

What City is your Toy Store in?  Are you shipping these from China??

All new Sellers are given listings limits to start.  Good luck as you start selling here!

Selling limits

New sellers have selling limits when they first start out. Once you have had some successful sales and proven you are a credible seller, ebay can raise your limits.  Good luck.

Selling limits

All new sellers have limits.

That helps protect new sellers from unscrupulous buyers who often target them, and it helps proctect buyers from the kinds of mistakes that inexperienced sellers often make.

As you build a record of successfully completed sales, the limits will increase.

Good luck to you!

Here's a good eBay help page for you to read that explains selling limits, including how and when those limits might be increased.

Selling limits

Here’s a new twist on the topic “selling limits” … I think it is ridiculous! I’m not a new seller as you can see from my feedback obviously. I had been selling a lot in my early years (I joined in 1999 !) … but I have since reduced to almost nothing in the last 5+ years. It’s because of the fees for one reason.

I don’t have a eBay store at all, nor do I have a business in physical. I’m just a guy who had some stuff leftovers from decades while I’m living. I only do the selling when I need some extra money.  At the moment right now I have three listings and then I find I can’t sell more on two reasons … $200 limit ???  New seller ?? What’s the deal with that?!

These new listings I’m selling is just for raising funds toward a mini vacation I’m going with a friend. That is all. I tell you… eBay have changed to worst more than I thought. How ridiculously… made me as a new seller ? That’s silly.  HA!

Selling limits

This is absolutely absurd.  I have received 100% positive feedback on more than 160 transactions, both buying and selling with more than $13,000 sold in the last 12 months.  Today, I created a new account to use for our business (so I don't have to worry about the personal tax situation) to sell our industrial surplus and eBay WILL NOT increase my limit at all.  I am very disappointed that the humans that I spoke with today WILL NOT make a discretionary decision based on definite PROOF of positive transactions.  I have hundreds of items that  I can list today that may not sell of 6 months or a year, but I can only put 3 on there with a maximum value of $500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It could take a VERY LONG time to raise the limit with these ridiculous restrictions not allowing me to have any sort of diversity of products listed.  I even asked them to meet me half way.  100 items at $5,000 max value.  NO, they said!   UGH.  I have been a member of eBay since 2005 and I am absolutely disgusted by this.  I may take my products to Amazon since eBay won't work with me.
