Selling limit of 5.... are there exceptions?

So I did a little research it looks like eBay doesn’t want new sellers to get overwhelmed by having too many listings, so I was wondering does anyone know if being a licensed business owner and being able to show them My EIN or tax return stuff to verify that I’m an actual owner of a few businesses and would be completely fine with selling more than five items in 30 days LOL also what did you have impeccable rap sheets on other selling networks can you pour that over here and get all those thumbs up and Ada boys?

thanks

New sellers all get lumped in to these limits. The quickest way to get them raised is successful selling during the probationary period. Ebay won’t usually consider lifting the limits until 3 months have passed, with what used to be 25 transactions, and no policy violations. They removed that verbiage from the Help pages awhile back and haven't replaced the criteria for getting limits raised. But you are welcome to try. Below is the Selling Limit policy with additional info and a link to request higher limits.

As for your last question about thumbs ups and “Atta Boys”, sorry, don’t quite follow what you are asking. Can you rephrase the question?

Nope. All that’s stuff doesn’t matter to eBay. Their reason? Ebay is different from other selling networks.

You’ll have to pay your dues like everyone else here. Although you can probably successfully get a limit increase after 30 days of impeccable selling and buyer satisfaction.
