I'm asking for a friend since I never had any issues with my selling limit, I'm not exactly sure how to answer due to my lack of experience.
The selling account has been using close to the limit every month (the limit bar is on the red). Sales are fine and there are zero violations and no bad buyer incidents (cases or negatives). Then it just had it's selling limit decreased unexpectedly and without notice... only the dollar amount and not the unit amount. When that happened many of the GTC failed to relist themselves because the decrease caused the dollar amount to be "over limit".
Then a month later the dollar limit raised itself back with an ebay email notice of selling limit raised. He listed his items back again close to the limit. Then a month later the limit decreased itself again and those "fail to GTC relist" happens again. It's like a yo-yo... up, down, up, then down again.
He's asking me if I know why it's doing that. Honestly my first guess was that maybe he wasn't utilizing the limit increase given to him, but I can see that he has been using it to 90%, hence the failing to relist issues due to over-limit. Anyone know why this happens or has this happening to them?
