Hello forum,
I came into possesion of a huge lot of mostly french books, magazines and comics all from 1945 and well into 1800, since they are mostly all french how in the heck can i sell them on ebay.com., i did pick the global shipping but i just dont see my results in canada or on ebay france, where it would make the most sense to sell since they are all french. just frustrated to get them out seems for me to be very difficult. i would love someone who is experienced in selling different language books on ebay for input.
thank you
g

How long have they been listed? It may take a while to sell. You are using BIN s I would stay the course it you haven't had them up for a while. Looks like good stuff. Keep it under GSP. If anyone ask for direct shipping I would give a discount but keep GSP.
These will take a while to sell even if they were on France eBay. Small market and you have to wait for the right person.

Not sure if this would help but you may want to move some stuff out of the book category. Your michilin guides to maps and the gun book to gun category. Another option and I am not sure of this is to sign up for eBay France. Others may help here.

Well, if you're offering French language materials..
to people living in France...
I'd say you should expect and be prepared to answer ...numerous questions....
sent to you in French.

thank you, when i do sell to someone they are usually old school collectors, they never argue over shipping, kind of good that way.
The problem shipping outside GSP is they may not like the shock of customs fees. GSP makes them pay up front. If you get a request for lower shipping discount the price if you have room. and keep GSP.
There is a strong market of serious book collectors in France and you should have steady sales. One thing to keep in mind is eBay prices tend to be 50% of market. After they sit a few months drop the price a little and people who have watched and looked will get an email.
I bought a large lot of rare old books and it took years to sell off. Just had to wiat for the person who wants it.

Just another point and I am done. I think you learned not to do auctions. The right person will not find them in seven days.
Whoever had these books was a serious collector with good book tastes. The comics are great and I am surprised they haven't sold. Nice stuff.
