Selling collectables recommended requirements

I have been selling on Ebay for over 22 years.Ebay is starting to really demoralize me.I've just finished a couple of weeks ago finishing my required revisions.(re condition)Now they are pushing the recommended requirements.I have redone (revised)25 today and still all are requiring the certification requirement which I have been told by a representative that means a grading number? These 25 auctions are sports collectibles priced between 2 and 15 dollars.80% of my sales are in that price range. My customers are certainly not looking to buy graded cards for finishing their sets and also paying that premium for inexpensive  cards.Ebay has told me that day is coming soon that all sportscards will need to be graded. This will probably end my ebay selling.Sure I sell graded cards but they are generally more expensive! At a cost of 40 dollars plus to have a card slabbed these days obviously cards that are at the lower price points doesnt make fiscal sense to slab everything?  I just dont get their logic.I was told that rampant fraud (counterfeits and card alterations)was one reason for this new policy change.?I am curious as to what other sellers feel about Ebays new changes?

Now they are pushing the recommended requirements

Recommended has anothet definition: "not required".

Ebay has told me that day is coming soon that all sportscards will need to be graded

I would not spend another minute thinking about what someone said eBay might do sometime in the future.
