I just noticed that as a seller when I send an offer to someone watching my item it is now good for 96 HOURS-- twice what it has been for a long time. Personally, I was hoping if they changed the duration time, it would GO TO 1 DAY--NOT THE "WRONG" WAY TO 4 DAYS! 4days is WAY too long to have your item LOCKED from being able to do almost anything in the way of revisions. When did this start? Is there a way for me to choose the duration time for offers I send?? There sure as heck should be, in my opinion! I would think eBay would want to accelerate sales-- not slow them. Thanks for any replies!!

How is no one else upset about this change? This is a ridiculous policy change that doesn't benefit sellers or buyers. Buyers will almost always accept an offer immediately - or they never will. And this update prevents sellers from actually selling the listing. What prompted this policy change and why can't we set our own durations?

Thanks for replying. I too am surprised that more people aren't upset or in disagreement with this change. You and I seem to be the only ones??? I just stopped sending offers because it is wayyyy too long to tie up my item from making changes. Thanks
