Selling History

About 10 years ago had to sell my Grandpa's Farmall tractor after he passed away. At the time wasn't finically able to keep it. Would like to contact with the seller and see if they still have the tractor and if they would be willing to sell it back to me so I can work on it with my son and keep it in the family.  Can I contact eBay about this or how do I see that old of sold items in my account? Thanks in advance.

Ten years is quite a while ago, and the system here only goes so far as far as buying history goes, but I needed to go back, too, and found them in my feedbacks!  Takes a few minutes, but if they left feedback for you, they might be able to be contacted that way.  Good luck!

Yep, feedback is the only way to go back that far. The problem is that there is no way to identify the transaction as all details are gone except FB comment and the user ID of who left it. Maybe if the OP had a very limited number of transactions they might find it that way.

Just out of curiousity, I went back to my first page of 200 FB. Its amazing how many of the user IDs are still registered after 22 years.

If you find their ID in your feedback and it is still active, you might try to contact them through their ID.  They're likely to remember buying a tractor!

As others have noted, the only available resource is your feedback history. Perhaps your buyer is the one for whom you left feedback stating, "Item ended Sunday night, buyer picked up item Tuesday afternoon".  We can't see the listing titles for your purchases, but you can.

Too cool that you want to see if you can purchase it back.  Let's hope that Farmall is still with the Buyer you sold it to!

Only on e-Bay could something like this come full circle 10 years later.  Update us if you are able to work this out!  Would make a great local interest story as well.  Good luck!

Look and see if there is a Farmall tractor page on Facebook. Would not hurt to try asking there. Next check for Case/Farmall chat pages or maybe Smokstak® Antique Engine Community . I think they may have a Farmall chat page.

How did you get paid?  I don't know how far paypal history goes back, but perhaps far enough?

PS.  It's ridiculous that they don't keep the entire transaction history.
