I intend to sell high-quality dehydrated vegetables and fruits here. I also read your set of policies on this. In addition, I would like to know if there are other facts. I want to be a salesperson after knowing all the facts properly.

Will you be shipping from Sri Lanka? If so you will be in for trouble with US Customs. There are all sorts of restrictions and paperwork to complete for the import of ANY type of food item (even chewing gum!) .

There are no hidden facts/policies.
They are all there for everyone to see.
I hope you get to know them properly.

As jimmy said, it is not so much that you can not sell these items on eBay, it is that some countries have very strict importation rules - in my country (Australia) our border control has a very strict laws for import of any vegetable/fruit/plant products.
I have been imported from Australia and this is my posting ID

You would need to check import laws for each country you want to ship to.
Not all countries allow food imports from just anyone.

The US has THE MOST restrictive rules of any country I'm aware of. I know Australia is tough as well but in the US the rules apply to ANY food product. While most stuff can be imported you have to do FDA Prior Notice paperwork or if customs find it's a food product without the proper paperwork the goods will be destroyed.

I think Au are the same, a low tolerance and destroyed on site pretty much as soon as it hits customs.
I never bothered to import food - we have these things called Supermarkets, and they have pretty much all need - and I get to take it home that day 😊

And you would dry them yourself, by hand? Commercially? Buy them already dried and pre-packaged?
What types of fruits and vegetables? Is there a large demand in your region?
