Selling Assistance wanted near New Haven CT

I'm looking for someone to sell items for me.  Everything from Wedgewood pottery to antique dolls.

     There have been a lot of postings like this lately and the responses to them have all been about the same. You would be better off finding a consignment auction house or an estate sale company close to you to handle the items. Most sellers are busy with their own items and anyone that would be willing to handle this for you is going to want at least 50% of the sale price to cover the fees, packing and shipping, Federal and State income tax, etc. 

     There is also the risk factor that the individual selling for you would have to deal with including any returns, chargebacks, scams.........

Dolls are a high fraud item.

Pottery is fragile.

Neither is well suited for mail order sales.

Depending on the value of those items, I would just donate them and be done with it, you'll feel much better.
