Hello,

I wish to sell Voyeur type videos, similar to the Girls Gone Wild Series. The videos are DVDs and I would like to list them at a Fixed Price to buyers in Canada and the United States.

I did list the items but my listing was flagged as inappropriate. So, I am trying to comply with Ebay's rules but am confused on how to do so.

It seems no such category of Adult Content exists for sellers on Ebay Canada. On Ebay U.S., I can find the category to list in, but it doesnt allow Fixed Price listings. It only allows Auction format. And then the payment options dont seem to allow Paypal, but only credit card.

I am not sure how to proceed so that I can list to buyers in Canada and the U.S., but send my items from Canada. And I cant figure out how to submit a Fixed Price Listing.

Please advise if anyone can help. Thanks very much.

Are you trying to use the Simplified Sell Your Item Form?

It's garbage.

There is a link in the top right corner to the Advanced/business form.

More options and clearer.

That may include FP on Adult items.

It should also allow you to use Flat Rate Shipping. And for that matter Free Shipping which is just a form of Flat Rate.

DON'T PANIC!

Free Shipping just means you include your shipping costs in your asking price.

Paypal doesn't allow payments on adult items or on gambling. They had a run in with the US Treasury at one point about money laundering. They were basically innocent of wrong doing, but made a corporate decision to stay away from "that sort " of purchase.

If you find you really are stuck with Auctions (which I doubt) you could tryadding Buy It Now at your preferred price.

Or use your preferred price as your starting price since most auctions get only one bid.

You do know that eBayCanada has a Seller's Board to, eh?

As long as you give a shipping price to Canada (it will be Flat Rate from an international location for both countries) you item will show to Canadian customers.

I did find how to list the dvds as Fixed Price, so that issue is solved. I havent figured out how to accept payment though because I am only set up for Paypal at the moment, not credit card only.

I understand Ebay wants to verify the buyers age, so that's why they wont allow a straight Paypal transaction.

For now, I will have to forgo selling the DVDs until I can figure the payment issue.

But, at least you solved one of my issues. Great advice.
