On February 28, I activated an offer titled "Pay $0.05 insertion fee per fixed-price listing instead of $0.10 for 4000 additional items" - the gist was that I had to pay $0.05 for insertion fees for items listed OVER the 1000 listings monthly allocation of my store.
On March 01, the 1000 listings allocation of my store was renewed BUT Ebay charged 93 insertion fees for renewals that occured on March 01 when none of my 1000 store listings had been used. In fact Ebay charged me for all the renewals that occured on March 01 and ignored the free relistings that come with the store subscription. They started using the 1000 free store listings on March 02.
I have contacted Ebay on both twitter and facebook and after several messages were exchanged (the Ebay representatives had initially a difficulty to comprehend the issue), 2 different representatives finally figured out what the problem was and said they would open tickets with the IT team. They also stated that I would have a reply in 2-3 business days.
It's been 20 days since the 1st ticket was opened and 12 days since the 2nd one. No reply yet to either of the tickets, the charges remain unaltered and .....everything is silent on the Ebay front.
I suggest you sellers who activated the same offer, verify the charges on your March statement. I bet I wasn't the only one who was impacted as this is clearly a bad programming isssue.

Thanks. It seems though that even when tugged Ebay employees keep being silent.
