Seller's are knowing breaking eBay rules by selling counterfeit pro and being rewarded for doing so.

There is a seller in Hong Kong who is selling fake adidas Tracksuits. He only has one item in his store and that in and of itself is a red flag. Add to it that he is selling a rare color combination which if authentic, would fetch 600 to 700

Congress made it pretty clear with the Digitial Millennium Copyright Act that they feel websites like eBay are not in a position to determine the authenticity of all 1.2 billion items on their site.

The most effective way to combat this would be to notify Adidas about the counterfeit items and for them use the VERO system to report counterfeits.

and being rewarded for doing

I suspect the expectation of a reward is the reason that most counterfeiters counterfeit things and the reason most thieves steal things.

It's buyer beware, know the item that you are buying, don't blindly trust the seller to avoid disappointment.

Yes it's true, the old saying of "if it's too good to be true it probably is" still applies even today.
