Seller rating below average for third cycle? How?

So I am a casual seller, and I had to cancel and refund two orders during a move when I couldn't  find them.  I understand why, then, for that cycle, my rating went below average.  I didn't sell anything the second cycle (how long is a cycle?), but since then I have sold at least 20 items, shipping on time and still maintaining my 100% fb... so WHY this morning did I get an email saying I sucked yet again for a third cycle?  What do I have to do?

I think those two major defects you earned stick with you for a year.

Yep, just checked the evaluation period for sellers with less than 400 transactions per year is on a 12 month cylce.

Now you just need to keep selling items while avaoiding any more eBay defects. When you get a chance, go to your seller dashboard and go through each item there carefully so you know exactly the things you need to be doing and NOT doing from now on.

Every day that passes brings you closer and closer to the day when your defects will drop off, your slate will be clean and hopefully back up to 'Above Standard' status.

Good luck with everything.

Canceling two order by itself would not put you below standard, because transaction defects do not count until you have 5 defects with 5 buyers. My guess is that you also have some cases closed without seller resolution.

But you will have to go to your seller dashboard and find out exactly why you are below standard.  We cannot help you unless you tell us that the problem is - and only you can do that.

As others have said, defects are based on a 12 month period for sellers with less than 400 transactions in 3 months.

What does your dashboard say?

Ah, now I see.  I don't have any cases closed without resolution, but I did have some "late shipments" last spring due to shipping outside ebay's label maker.... ugh...... bullcrap, but at least I know what I have to do.
