I sold a new MacBook Pro on eBay and the seller unregistered from eBay after I shipped it to her and so she got my brand new MacBook Pro without paying. I asked eBay for a refund but they declined to refund! Does eBay offer refunds to others scammed possibly by the same person or not?
I have a Mac mini I would like to sell but am afraid they have another hunting my tail!

I am sorry, but why on earth would you send something before eBay advised the buyer had paid?
Does not matter if they are now unregistered or are a 20 year buyer with a great reputation, NEVER send anything without payment being received by eBay and getting the notification to ship.
I see you have sold 16 items previously, so I am thinking maybe you mean you have not yet received the funds from eBay?? rather than the buyer did not pay??
@Anonymous can you please clarify

How did they get your MacBook without paying first?
No, Ebay will not refund you if you shipped before you were paid.

Hi @Anonymous
You have been a member on this ID since 2015 and have sold and purchased. Your Feedback history seems to indicate that it has been a while since you sold anything but out of curiosity, on your sales from the past did you typically ship items before getting paid?
Along those same lines, eBay uses a new Payment Processor and I just want to make sure that if you get paid for anything you receive the money so here is a link to the eBay Help Pages on getting paid for your sales. Getting paid for items you've sold | eBay
You need to give eBay your banking information and SSN in order to get paid and money is sent to your bank account not PayPal.
New or low activity Sellers are targets for scammers and I would suggest that if you plan to sell more on eBay you start with lower cost items to gain experience before offering high scam target items like valuable electronics. Nobody here wants to see you fail just so you know.

Yeah. The money sign for the transaction was lit up indicating the money was sent or item was paid so I sent the item and the person unregistered. I wouldn’t have shipped my computer if I thought I didn’t get paid. eBay said they manage the payments and the money sign had been avow showing I got paid?? I guess I got ripped off. Why can’t I catch the person who stole is all I was trying for…

Can you clarify the above? Not understanding what "avow showing I got paid" was supposed to say.
If you did get a genuine payment notification then you were indeed clear to ship. That would indicate that eBay did receive the buyer's payment, but if the account was nuked shortly thereafter, you should have received a notification about that as well.
Is the package still en route or was it delivered already? If it has not been delivered yet you may be able to intercept and recover the shipment. What date did you ship and which carrier did you use?

@Anonymous The "Money sign"? That goes back to quite a few My eBay page layouts. Seller Hub is the new eBay page arrangement and they have a file titled Awaiting payment and one called Awaiting shipment - print shipping label (pic below).
