I recently discovered that eBay added the tax the buyer paid to the total they calculated my fee to them. I was mad and called them to complain. It didn’t make sense to me. Now I accept it as they are doing a service by collecting the tax and I don’t have to deal with it.
If not selling on eBay, or another such platform, as the state laws are written, for the most part, you would be responsible only for collecting/remitting sales tax for Arizona.
