Seller Performance Issue?

Since my friend is not able to get on ebay because of the above subject, I'm posting for him.  Here is his exact words.  Hopefully, someone can help.  He's only had 1 negative feed back and that was over a year ago.  Anyone?

I got a notification of seller performance issue. I have less than 4 negative in 20 plus years. I guess I’m in EBay jail. I can’t post anything, i have have sold a few things this month but I have no idea how to resolve this issue. I can’t even figure out who to call. I have a friend who has been selling for years…. He says he hasn’t a clue… any idea?

Well a few negatives are not going to land your friend in jail.

Were the negatives due to no/late shipping? Item not received?

Did your friend not respond to buyers and eBay had to step in and refund?

The above will get your friend in jail.

The feedback has nothing to do with your friends issue.  They would have received an email from Ebay explaining the issue.  They need to visit that email and read it closely.  There is more to your friends story.

I'm unsure why they can't post here, they should be able to do that unless they have been banned from the Community for some reason.

They should take a very close look at their Seller Dashboard in the Seller Hub.

Hi @cybill5 that’s nice of you to reach out on behalf of your friend.

First, reassure him that feedback is no longer used by eBay in evaluating seller performance metrics. The negatives he received will have had no bearing on his suspension, if that is indeed what we are talking about here. If he does not object, what is his user ID so we can take a look at his listings past and present, if any, and his feedback profile?
