EBAY!!!! WAKE UP!!! Sellers are getting burned and the buyers are using it for the worst. I have a case where I sold a used pair of speakers, took the buyers best offer, shipped out fast n free. Buyer waited to day 29 to open a refund claim saying the speakers are defective. We hid nothing from the buyer.
Buyer reply was:
I'll wait till feb when eBay decides then send them back to you...
Wow! Are you kidding me?! Ebay, step up! start protecting us from being used!
I will NO longer sell or buy on here as I'm sick of having funds pulled out of my paypal accounts, for dead beat buyers that know they can work the shottie system you have in place!
Below is the decription of item:
This is a very used pair of focal mid drivers, they look to have a little water damage, we toned them out, and metered them. They work in that they play audio, not sure how accurate they are anymore. Please see pictures, thanks. If you have questions please ask. Reasonable offers will be accepted.

Did you tell them to return for refund? Did you send a pre paid label? If you did, after five days of no activity on the tracking, call the next day and have Ebay close your case due to buyer inactivity. Buyers can't wait forever to return something.

"not sure how accurate they are anymore"
This above opens the door for someone who just wants to test them out before deciding if they really want them. Then there's the water damage.
I found the listing on google. Ebay is hiding this listing, which really annoys me. but I digress.
I think these types of items are problematic. Buyer has to decide whether they think they are worth the money or not, and as they are used with flaws, that's the red flag that there's a good chance they would be returned, costing you money.
I now avoid all items like these. Just not worth the hassle. Sell them locally. Hook them up in your garage and sell them that way.
Maybe the buyer didn't feel they were accurate enough for their liking. Maybe the buyer found a pair in better condition and bought those. That's why I avoid listing these types of items, they are red flag items that you quite possibly are going to run into a buyer who decides after the fact that they don't want them.
Some items no longer belong on ebay because of the ability for buyers to force a return.
