I ran into this in the Seller Center just now (I was looking for something else)
https://pages.ebay.com/seller-center/seller-boot-camp.html
"Get 4 weeks of free online training on how to run a profitable business. The first lesson starts March 5!"
Whatcha think all?

Thanks for the link.
Is the photo the supposed to show the typical ebay sellers home/ebay sellers office/shipping department?
If so who puts there boxes under a hot oil fryer/ spotlight....what is that thing.
Where did the seller get all the different sizes of ebay boxes, ebay only has 4 sizes even though the tell us there are 10+ sizes.
Are there any sellers here on ebay whose stage room is as neat as pictured?
I do like the photos,on the wall ,lol.

I may do it just to see what they think we should do, might be good for a laugh.

I may be jaded after 19 years, but...
There are no magic formulas for on line selling...
-understand market price
-understand shipping & fees cost
-be familiar with addition and subtraction
-understand good presentation
-understand that everyday is not payday, and losses can occur
-know where to locate Schedule C, and how to calulate square footage for std home office deduction
Besides those, and explaining how to download a good template, and being made aware of how scammers work...WHAT CAN POSSIBLY TAKE 4 WEEKS TO EXPLAIN?
Free Shipping, Free 30 Day Returns, and Same Day Handling?

Have fun. I just read through it and it sounds like you will be getting lessons and homework. I'm too old to go back to school.

The secret is sourcing picking something up off the curb or out of the landfill and selling it is the sign of a true marketing genius.. To me a open top dumpster is a estate and a dumpster with a lid is a elegant estate.....

When anyone can prove causality vs. correlation in any ebay "program", the steak dinner is on me.
When did low price become obsolete?

You can bet that bargaining at a pawn shop won't be included...but should be.
My friend runs a pawn shop, so I've spent enough time in there to know how those places work.

If it's behind the Hallmark store, it's a U-Line pop-up sale...

The only time it's too late to learn is if you've already given up. My grandmother took a college algebra class when she was in her late 70's. I wanna be old her way.
But I have aphasia; learning and remembering are difficult skills for me. I think that gives the effort a different sort of value. I'm still gonna try to do this, and I'm gonna make a real effort to keep an open mind.

I signed up - happy to see if there's something I may not know - if so - I'm not sharing! I routinely watch youtube videos and look at posters stores to get clues about what's selling so I can add them to my own stash.
When people quit trying to learn - you stagnate.

Hey, nothing wrong with learning! I'm seriously considering going back to school to study agronomy, and I'm 50 something. It's something I've always wanted to do, and I may just do it.

What exactly do you think you would learn from it?
