Search is so broken and convoluted. Key words don't work anymore, and Neither does Advanced Search!

I did an advanced search for a dress.  The name on the dress I am looking for is Phases (an older brand).  So I searched "phases dress"   So it came up with over 1700 listings with the name "Phases Eight Dress"  Even with an advanced search!  So then I did eliminate the word EIGHT.  The same 1700 listing with the word Eight came up!!!  ARG - Frustration!  I tried all kinds of which ways.  Going under the category Clothing.  I wanted more filters, but they didn't show up on the left menu again Frustration!  Still no advanced search results without the word Eight.  Then I tried addeding some of the parameters on the left menu that were available.  Now I am down to 1200 Listings.  Then I added more paramenters like Pre-Owned.  Now I am down to 931 listings.  BUT THEY STILL HAVE THE WORD EIGHT IN THERE. 

IT  IS NO WONDER THERE ARE NO SALES.  PEOPLE HAVE SO  MUCH FRUSTRAITON FINDING WHAT THEY WANT!

Ebay has decided this is why buyers want.....they claim it makes them happy.
Ebay shows you want it has decided you should buy...regardless of what you think you may want.
This is ebay's AI technology at it's best....and how ebay wants it to be and they think it is perfect.
We just hope that a buyer may find us/our items by some fluke.

In any case it will not be changing.

You got more out of it than I did.  Will have to remember the quotes and the minus sign.  We shouldn't have to use old coding to get to what we are looking for.  Advance search should have worked.
