Buyers can't find the sellers items because "search" is broken (in my opinion but apparently not in ebay's opinion) such that buyers may not be seeing the seller's items listed. "Search" doesn't list every item in the search (why not?). For example, when I searched for "Beatles" in all categories and sorted by lowest price first, I got a list of only 160 items with the first (lowest priced) item being a book for around $30. Cleary not correct. I refined my search to "Beatles Help" and got a list again of only 160 items but with the first (lowest priced) item being a record for around $15. I narrowed my search and got lower cost items?????? So, I refined my search further to "Beatles Help mono" and the list grew to 220 items with the first (lowest priced) item being a record for around $8. Then I limited this latest search to items under $5 and got several items not listed any of the previous searches. How **bleep** is that?????
If buyers can't find the sellers listed items, the buyer can't buy and the seller can't sell.

If I search for Beatles Help Vinyl I get 1600+ results.
It does not matter if your listing appears or not, your chances of making a sale are extremely small unless you are on the first or second page of results.

The "Price plus shipping: lowest first" sort order provides filtered results -- often drastically filtered. And the option to "see more results" may not always be shown as it should. The filtering may vary depending on the keywords used.
If you encounter a drastically filtered result for a keyword search using a desktop browser, you should be able to use the "Feedback" link in the lower right corner of the search results to provide feedback on your search to eBay developers. The more users provide info, the more likely something is to be done about the over-filtration problem.
You can avoid that problem entirely by using a different sort order.
If you have few results, try sorting by "highest first", then starting at the end of the results, scroll up instead of down. This also avoids the problem of variation listings with low-cost variations appearing at the top of the lowest-first sort.
If you have a bookmarked or saved lowest-first search that you use a lot, you can avoid the filtration by adding the following to the end of the search URL, then saving the resulting search:

Would you care to share just one of your listings that you think is not searchable?
