Scheduling eBay Store Newsletter with scheduled sale campaign

I've just started using newsletters to spur interest in my items and hopefully boost sales.  My sales are going okay; I just would like them to be better.

I just sent out my first newsletter with a Memorial Day sale event, and that went fine because my sale event is "active" (good from today until May 27).

So I started on my next newsletter, where I am having a sale on all of my thimbles.  I have quite a few and have only sold one so far.  I set up that sale event to start on June 1, wrote a short blurb about thimbles... and found out that eBay won't let me add a scheduled sale event to my newsletter.  So I can schedule a newsletter in advance but can't add a scheduled sales event to that newsletter that will take effect on the day I send the newsletter out.

That makes no sense.  Ebay - if you are reading this, please let us add scheduled sales events to our newsletters so we can be more efficent with our time.

I can see why that doesn't make sense to you, but I can also see the other side of it.

A scheduled sale event can be altered or deleted at any time before that sale goes live. If the seller makes changes to that event and forgets to update their newsletter, they are potentially scheduling a newsletter with a scheduled sale that was deleted and has dead links.

While you may be a responsible seller that would manage those types of details, other sellers may not be, and it would be a bad experience for the buyer to get a newsletter about a sale that never went live.

That said, if it's an important feature, you can always click the ? icon on the lower right of your selling page then use the "submit feedback" link to send in your suggestion.
