Define scammers.
The internet is rife with scams of every kind.
EBay has a few specialty ones.
And there are annoying situations that are just misunderstandings that upset people call scams.

There are scammers and then there are demanding or misinformed buyers that do not understand how things work and have never sold or shipped an item.

As others noted not enough information or specificity to answer your question. Most transactions on eBay complete without any issues but scam's do happen. A lot of those attempts depend on what the seller is listing, how new they are to eBay and the breadth of their marketplace (domestic vs worldwide). There are some general things to be aware of and you can search this forum to find a multitude of examples.
