I received a message from an eBayer. They have 16 feedback scores and a member since 2014. The message read.....
DO NOT CLICK THAT LINK IF IT SENT TO YOU!!!
The message looked completely legit from a buyer, pictures of the item, offer etc. Stupidly I clicked on it, my sign in screen from eBay popped, looked completely legit. Did not enter my password, clicked out of it. I signed out of my account and attempted to sign back in. I couldn't I had to change my password as well as my password for my email account. I contacted eBay immediately, they looked at the message, and told me that Yes, it's a bad URL and I was advised to change my passwords for my eBay and email. I had already done it thankfully.
I copied and pasted the link into the community board search box and it came up different from what I had copied. The 'selling-enable' part of the URL comes up 'singable.ink'
Watch out....

If a buyer messaged me that their payment was repeatedly declined I would tell them to have a chat with their financial institution.
And the line about not accepting payment because there’s no recent transactions is a line of hogwash.
All payments go through eBay’s payment processor.
Sellers have no control over payments being declined.
I don’t fall for storylines such as the one you received.
I never ever click on links no matter how legit they look.
But thanks for the heads up.

Tell buyer to use the PAY NOW button only. If the payment is declined, they must call their bank or credit card company. Stop emailing. On the 4th day and 1 minute, go ahead and cancel the transaction with the buyer did NOT pay. Either the buyer is a potential scammer or they have bad credit or not enough money in their bank. None are the types of customers that you want. None.
