Yes, it is a scam. Never do a transaction that way/off-e-Bay. It is always a scam. Be sure to BBL this buyer.

Scam??
Absolutely.

Should I just cancel the order and re-list it?

What order?

It could be the case that @angewa38 accepted an offer. There is then a buyer of record. The fact that it is just one of the usual "text me" scammers can not be determined unless the offer is accepted and they start with their typical verbiage.
Of course, this "buyer" is never going to pay, but at least by using the 'best offer' feature, they can be reported on site by making use of one of the "report this buyer" features. The scammers that just use the message system for contact without using the best offer, can simply be ignored.
This one can be reported by the OP, and/or they wait the five days and simply cancel the transaction for non-payment.
Simply cancelling now would be a tricky thing to avoid a ding on the seller's account. There is no choice to cancel because they got a "scammer". LOL.

This looks to me like a way for the text me scammers to get around listings that don't have offers. Instead they're adding the widget to their shopping cart then hitting the request total link. That's what it shows in the screenshot, at least.
You should cancel the listing, @angewa38, but wait the 4 days so that the scammer gets an unpaid item strike.

Never mind about the shopping cart. I see the OP's listing was an auction. Same principle applies, though. When you relist this after cancelling for non-payment, @angewa38, list it as fixed price and check the immediate payment required box. Auction isn't a good format for listing this item, Legos are high-scam, you have no feedback, and it's easy to research current selling prices for this item so you know how to price it.
