I just got one of those "I'll send you a check and when it clears my mover will pick it up" emails on an auction item I have. Trying to report it to eBay but going through all the menus I can't find the right way to get that done. Is there a direct route to report something like this?

The fastest and best way is to make a call to ebay through help and contact.

Dear "Buyer"
Sure, no problem... We will accept a postal money order ONLY.
My guess is you will never hear from them again. Then you can report the buyer or not. Depends on how much time you want to spend on this.

This, have it as a copy and paste. Hope your item is Immediate Payment required, or Local Pickup ONLY.

I'd forward that one to spoof@ebay.com as well as to Google since the scammer is using a gmail address. Here's the Google/gmail link to do so.
