I've seen that happening sporadically for as long as I remember, and yes, I saw it happening on a couple of my listings as recently as a few days ago. It's just cosmetic... sort of... a hiccup in the reporting from the database.
Putting this in general terms (because I am an IT person, but not for eBay, so I can't see their actual coding), when the website is putting together the page that you will be viewing, it makes a call internally to get the latest viewing counts for each of your items. If the answer doesn't come back more-or-less immediately, the process plugs in a zero as a placeholder and moves on to the next thing, so that you will still see your Seller page as quickly as possible, even if it's a bit incomplete in places. Failure to retrieve a viewing count is not a big-enough problem to hold up the rest of the process, so you'll see the occasional zeroes appearing. The correct counts will reappear sooner or later.

All the time. I sell stuff that supposedly has no views. I pay no attention to the view counter.

I wouldn't worry about it. I have 2 items listed right now that say they have had between 400-500 views each but no watchers. These are items that for sure haven't had that many views.
