...for at least a year. Still selling the same items that once sold very well.
Whats causing this, the economy, eBay ?
I sell under a different name.

Could be a little of both, but more likely your assumption that items that sold well in the past will continue to do so.

It has lttle to do with the economy. Are the "bull's eye" store parking lots empty? Or Sammy's mart store parking lots? Or the HI stores? No. The causes range from a prolifically bad search engine, to the exceedingly cheap buyer habits. Plus, if you are a smaller seller, you are being hung out to dry. Possibly, the people, who once made the "hot items", hot, have just plain died off. I mean, it HAS been 22 years, since ebay sold the first item (A broken laser pointer) Can you imagine trying to sell one of those on here today?? Ha!

Need to know what the item is but coud it be a fad item that is no longer in fashion?
A product where a new and improved one is now on the market?
More competition on that product?

Maybe because you're selling 'the same stuff as last year'.

Have read that changing the listing can help. Revise the title, the description.
Add new pictures.
Just some thoughts. Good Luck.
