Sales graph looks like a pyramid since late August. Peaked exactly when ebay made changes.

And has continuously gone downhill since.  Actually going downhill at a bigger pace. Horrible decision on ebay to combined categories. Other platforms out sold ebay 3 times since mid October with 1/10 of the items listed. In the past this never came close to happening. HEY EBAY THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH YOUR CHANGES THAT ARE DESTROYING SALES. The search results are also very lacking and only pull up a handful of items when in the past it would be hundreds.

I don't know what's causing the issues.      I'm different than your situation.

All 3 of my accounts are down an average of 44% starting the first week of July.     They've all 'stayed down

 that amount since then.

I've had days with zero sales.      It's been many years since that has happened.

@cool.jewels.by.jeff   They are extremely subjective and in many cases uninformative ... one I looked at simply stated a % of increase then "vs prior time period" ... duh, WHAT time period are we talking about, the last 31 days?  If its there it is NOT easy to find ... so I don't know, it doesn't say ...  (bad info, I want it by month) ... for YEARS most of my sales have come on weekends so if you look at ANY last 31 day's worth of info in the middle of the week it is low compared to the same chart on a weekend ...

A sales chart for me is like a roller coaster ...

Maybe destroying sales is the point in categories like collectibles and vintage as well as in over saturated categories like clothing and jewelry.  Since each listed item carries the same cost to Ebay, perhaps they slowly want to abandon such categories and do as CEO Iannone has stated which is to focus on niche higher end categories.  Perhaps Ebay's Board of Directors (major shareholders) understands that Ebay's business model is not completive with Amazon's business model which needs not make a profit from sales, only from membership fees.

No there is a need to bring a major concern and voice peoples experiences of what is really going on. . When you consistently have sales over 300k for 5 years and all the sudden that number starts quickly heading south when changes were made. Thats when its time to share your thoughts with other sellers and hopefully ebay reverses things so they dont lose buyers and sellers. With ebays desire to compete with amazon (which will never happen) they are only allowing the other selling platforms to compete closer to ebay.

Ebay should stick with being ebay. Amazon is NOT an auction site where people can wheel and deal. Ebay does not nor will they ever have the resources to be amazon.

@cool.jewels.by.jeff   This is very, very true ... just look at the Prime van delivery fleet, tractor trailers, jet aircraft, etc.

All eBay can ever hope to talk about is "market share" and in that regard its a short conversation on a very low percentage ... if eBay wants to play with the big boys they need to create a new site and simply let eBay be eBay as you so aptly put it ...

Sales slow, views down big time, ebay's changes always cost us sales, but glad to see ebay did 18.2 billion in sales in the quarter, sure would like to be one of sellers that was actually included in that 18.2 billion. This should be a good time of year for our store.  Have a great day!
