Haven't had a sale in days.... Seriously thinking about keeping/donating things and going out to try for work again. If the economy keeps being this bad, I'm going to have to. Almost 100 items up, tons of watchers - no one buying! 😞 How are your sales?
01-17-2021 05:38 PM
There are no guarantees from day to day, hour to hour how many sales any of us will get. Because you have less sales this week than you did last week, it isn't time to donate and move on. Patience. Add more things like was selling well for you before. Next week may very well be a good week for you. But no one knows. Just stay positive and I wish you nothing but the very best.

My sales are slow also. I believe the collective sphincter is pretty tight right now for numerous reasons.

I think a lot of people are concerned about what may transpire on Wednesday. Not just in DC but across the country.

Yeah, my sales are down, too, although my sales are on a different site. I'm hoping that stimulus moola that has been chucked out and perhaps some furture stimulus moola to be released, will improve sales, so I wouldn't give up yet.
Good luck to ya and good luck to me too

It's all the political stuff is what it is. Won't get into it, but I'm glad I don't have to sell for a living. Some people do. I feel for them. The economy is just going to get worse.

Yeah as soon as it was clear that the election was decided, it's been dead. I had record high sales last year even with the scamdemic. I was even selling well after Christmas. Have had nothing since Tuesday. If it's true there are people who want to ruin our economy for their own gain, I hope they're watching their backs every minute for the karma that will surely come...

When I'm insecure about things, I tend to spend more money. TOYS - I've been buying them all year. I try to keep my prices as low as I can because I know a lot of people - most people - are struggling now. Maybe people are like me and they overbought on comfort things. I can't blame it on anything other than the political stuff because it's the only thing that's changed. I don't belong to or identify with any political party, but I do know who I trust the least. Obviously it's the same for most others, too. They just won't admit it.

Wow, how insensitive, it isn't a joke! You do realize that some people reading these threads have likely lost loved ones to this virus, right? Really not something to make light of.

eBay was pretty depressing before the virus situation hit then I had a very good 9 1/2 months of selling. Now it is dropping again. Last 3 days were pathetic. Let's all hope it is a minor lull. Stay safe. 🙂

Yeah, I know - I lost my grandmother because of this scamdemic. No one could get in to see her in the assisted living apartment she was in because of it. She was complaining of feeling weak, but no one there took it seriously. She would call my mom, but my mom couldn't even get in the building to see her. She ended up dying, and if I find out she died in vain, I'll go after the people responsible for this myself! For the record, she was tested for coronavirus twice, and was negative.

Mental health is kind of a thing, too. It can cost just as many if not more lives. 26% of people who have my condition die of suicide. 26%! Is THAT not important, too?? I'll bet no one on this board knows what borderline personality is. It kills more people than this dumb cold, I'll guarantee! There is a second epidemic that is coming, a mental health epidemic directly caused by these restrictions, and it will serve these commies right if this "pandemic" was planned. I will tell you as someone with mental health issues that it will be way worse than this cold ever was.

January is usually a good month for me, but like Oct, Nov, and Dec 2020 may be the worst January in 20 years. Not even the return of sports has helped - I sold more sports stuff in the month of July alone than I have the five plus months since combined. Collectibles are also way down.

@Anonymous
I am sorry to hear you are carrying a heavy burden.
There are people here that know what borderline personality disorder is. And PTSD and Major Depression. Bipolar. Generalized Anxiety Disorder. And on and on. Everyone, every single soul on this board, also carries some load, knows some loss. Some more than others, but one cannot assume others have no idea. Everyone has or knows someone who has mental illness.
This is just not the ideal time and place to disclose intimate, personal information.

A friend of mine lost 3 relatives in 10 days from this so-called "scamdemic" - they all lived together in a house, a small family. Once a happy home, and 10 days later, an empty house.
You're lucky you're not within arm's length of me.
