Seems sales have ground to a halt - anybody else seeing same/different? Don't need comments on why (I think I know), just curious if others are seeing same...

No. Sales are great for me!

Yes they are! I get a sale once every 10 days or so. Never had this happened before. I netted $280. give or take some change in a 30 day period. I used to make this easy in a day and this has been going on for awhile now. Ebay is not my go to site anymore and it's a shame I used to like selling here but times change and we must move on. Most likely wont be renewing my store.

You make 3 sales in a month that's great for you.

This is a refrain posted every week, if not every day, here in the 15 years I've been on this forum (so you are not alone). The usual go-to answer is 'economy' but it really doesn't boil down to that - there are too many factors. The biggest IMHO is diminishing demand for what one is selling, or for the price they're asking for (it also seems to be the most unpopular reason). Being mostly in the fashion category, this is a constant for me - it's a non-stop churn.

This is different this time around it is affecting sellers in different categories from toys to clothes and collectibles to autos this affecting many.

Had more sales in March than I did February. But still less than the three months prior (Nov-Jan). To be expected maybe. I also stopped listing in December because of issues life issues that came up, so am sure that has played a part. Will get back to listing this or next week though since I have a garage full of stuff that needs to get sold. But with everything going on (not to mention taxes). No idea if sales will actually pick up too much for a bit.

Some people who are not selling enough but want to sell more make changes. If you know why then maybe, make some changes? Since you do not want help, I will leave it at that.

Sales are non-existent for me, and getting worse with inflation! Of course, sellers will say it is what you are selling, but if I don't have extra cash I ain't buying anything. Many here are sellers and buyers, hence if NO money in NO money out!!

I'm seeing same.

Changes? Sure. Coupons, promoted listing, other promotions.
You can't get blood from a stone - the economy is tanking, people are worried about inflation and war - all of this influences buyer behavior - it's not that I don't want help, it's that all I'm really interested in knowing is whether other sellers are seeing same, that's all.

Buyers prefer auctions.
Some buyers look for free shipping.
Buyers hate high shipping.
I have to do auctions to keep the money coming.

Yes, definitely.

As far as my eBay sales yes it is VERY slow and there are a number of factors contributing to that. However, the sales on other forums are holding steady although they are down a little from the COVID surge. Wall Street had predicted this would happen once the COVID panic started to diminish a bit and people began to return to their old shopping habits.
Most ecommerce sites failed to hit their projected 4th quarter marks but I believe the 1st quarter report is going to be a wake up call.
