Robbing Ebay

eBay. Robbers.

Invoice today charges me £2.50 (UK) - advance listing fee.

**bleep**.

No detail just a charge. You can't click for an explanation. No date when the charge was incurred.

Went to bottom of page and clicked ..click here for fee information.

Next a 404 page missing.

eBay are robbing bandits. A trillion dollar global company sends an invoice with a missing link on vital fee information.

Robbing bandits that you really can't contact.  In the UK....chat with someone in California? On PT?

Welcome to the future of selling.

Don't do it.

A future with the likes of eBay (and the other empathyless money machines and their owners) is a future not worth living.

Soon Amazon, Tesla, eBay etc will control everything in your life. Even what you eat. Get used to it.

Maybe post in the UK board, and see if they know something.

It's a listing upgrade fee, the only one I see that matches your £2.50 is the Gallery Plus option.

Just because there is a billing issue that you don't understand doesn't mean ebay is out to get you.

This is going to sound CRAZY but why dont you contact ebay and find out what the charge is. I guarantee you that they will not tell you "this is a random charge".

Maybe if you try your home site, instead of the USA site, you'll be able to contact someone at a more convenient time. Or just wait for complete dystopia to settle in; you seem to be hoping for that.

It sounds like you listed with the "Gallery Plus" option (which is the only advanced listing fee that costs £2.50).

When you click to list the item on the UK site, it apparently shows the fees with the reminder that you will "List with Displayed Fees".

Did you forget to look at the fee before you listed?

IMHO that will only happen to the weak-willed people who will allow it to happen. If that is the only future you see for yourself, then that is a future you have chosen.
