Hello
Sorry if there's a subject relating to this already, I've searched every term that came to mind but couldn't find anything.
I'm a new seller, so I was naive to the fact that once a listing with more than 1 of that item in stock sells, it cannot be revised. I've started selling an item but I rushed the listing and now I need to amend a few things.
- The postage weight is too low, although increasing it to the correct amount doesn't increase the cost (it just saves them getting annoyed with me in the Post Office).
- I need to add more photos showing variances in colours.
- I would like to change the wording of the HTML description.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

I'm not aware of any restriction on revising a fixed price listing after one item sells. In fact, there's a special notice and link that appear at the top of a listing after it has sold one or more items and has been revised. You can revise the package weight when you're preparing to purchase the shipping label.

As long as the listing is still active, you can revise it any time, as many times as you want. You wont lose the sold count.

Thank you for your input, however I'm definitely unable to edit my listing (please see attached).
The image just shows the error message. Essentially, it won't allow me to edit any of the options as described in the initial post.
Would you have any clues as to why this is happening?
Thanks so much.

Thank you for your input.
I've just replied to the other response too. What are your thoughts on this?
Thank you

The image isn't useful. It says "Some of the fields..." Have you tried revising? Which fields are "some"? For instance, can you type in the title box?Are some areas grayed out? Are there any other messages that come up when you enter a revision? I wonder if it matters whether the listing has less than 12 hours left before it rolls over.
Also: Your price is in pounds, so I just realized that you are in the UK. This is the discussion board for eBay members in the United States. You'll get better replies if you also post on the UK Community boards because the rules and policies for the UK are sometimes different.

This is the US board.
All we can tell you is how it works for US sellers.
We don't know if it is the same on the UK site.
