I had a buyer send me a one line sentence that he was returning an item. I anticipate the return request but find in two days I have the item back. My question is do you walk the buyer through the return request so it is documented or do you refund through Paypal in this case. I need to make sure my final value fees credited back as it was a large $ purchase? Pros/cons of either? I attemped a cancel transaction but that also refunds the full amount to incude shipping?
