Restricted for expired meds when we had taken them down before they expired

The last two months, we were hit with restrictions for 10 days, due to Ebay citing us for having expired Aspirin/headache pills listed.  Factually, we had ended the listings weeks prior to the end of the month they expired.  I called Ebay tonight and was told they took these down themselves on 4/5/2023.  I have screen shots of our ended listings that we took with our phone on 3/15/2023 on one item.  We also printed a PDF of the list on 3/15/2023 that shows this.  Ebay will likely uphold the appeal (a quick, flimsy appeal filed by the phone rep that was done in 2 minutes).  What else can we do?

I had a similar thing happen to me.

Do you have the OOS (out of stock option) enabled?

I do.

I had a food product that expired so I set the quantity to 0.

I'm expecting fresh stock in shortly.

While my listing was sitting there with 0 in stock, showing the old expiration date, ebay cancelled it. 

Get this, even f the item is out of stock ebay wants a CURRENT expiration date.

How do you put down an expiration date for a item you dont have???

Because they ended the listing, I had to start from scratch and create a new listing.

This time I had to make up a expiration date until fresh stock comes in.
