Restricted - Alcohol Related Item?

Trying to sell a vintage license plate from Alabama. None of my keywords pertain to alcohol in the least. This has happened before with some mini winking santa mugs (shot glasses) which are sold often on here without issue. I don't know why they've flagged my account in some way to cause this issue again. I had the same thing happen when I listed a hair iron. One keyword was "barrel" and once I remove the trigger word the listing posted and item eventually sold without a hitch. Just absurd. But it's ebay what more can I expect.

This is the message that I get when I try to post:

"It appears you’re listing an alcoholic beverage item. You’re no longer allowed to sell these items on eBay due to not following the Alcohol policy previously. Do not attempt to relist this item. If you try to sell these again, your selling privileges may be restricted and you may also be subject to legal action. You won’t be able to appeal this block, even if the item you are listing follows the policy or is not related to this issue."

Hi. This is the title: 1975 Alabama Heart of Dixie License Plate 28T 293

I purchased two other variations of this license plate and two other different plates all of which i planned to list today. Hope this issue doesn't prevent that. thanks

i typed "dixie alcohol" in google and first result was dixie vodka. that's the only possible reason it may be getting flagged. obviously my title doesn't say alcohol. im reaching to even come to that conclusion. but then if i take that word out im not accurately describing my item. others have this plate listed with the same wording. i may try to remove the word but in my experience once they flag one of my listings the only hope is to create a new one and hope it goes through without being flagged again.

This happened to me once, except I had listed an old padlock, and ebay said It was a prohibited license tag.   Itty Bit Not suggested I contact ebay For Business on Facebook.  I did, and they fixed the problem right away.

eBay prohibits many items showing the Confederate flag, so I wonder whether "Dixie" set off that policy but got the wrong message about which policy was the problem. Or maybe the policy on license plates was mis-applied.

But there is no indication that anything in the listing had any connection to any kind of vodka, let alone Dixie Vodka. There are wine, beer, and liquor brands that use "bicycle," "train," "dog," "cat," and various colors in their name. Should people avoid using those words in their listings just because some alcohol brand has used it as part of their trademark?

I tried to list the plate again creating a whole new listing using a sold plate from a different seller. Same result. Same warning message up top. Tired of this crap.

I found a way to reach a live person via the automated chat feature. Spoke to two very attentive reps and we got to the root of the problem which is: the word "license". Remove it and listing goes through. Try to revise listing after live and it trigger the warning again. Strange because other listings (and there are hundreds of them) both current and sold use the word license in the title. But for some reason of which neither was able to tell me I cannot use that word. I also tried to find out what previous violation the warning is talking about with no resolution. So there you have it. Remove the word "license" and you're good to go. Brilliant!

I wonder if the word Vintage in the title would make a difference since a license plate has to be 10+ years old to be listed.  Just grasping at straws...

List it without the word.  With clear photos, people can see the word dixie.
