Request for refund

Help me understand how this works. A buyer with No feedback score has requested a refund stating the item was not what they ordered and refused to pay their credit card bill after they paid “too much for shipping” . They filed a request with eBay. So was the order not right or are they concerned how much was charged for shipping- the rant message states multiple things. I am 99% positive I sent the right item, could it have happened, yes, I had 3 sales that day, all have been received, no complaints, but no feedback was left for any, which is the 1% uncertainty. If I approve refund and pay return shipping and it’s the item they ordered do I just loose! I am a, does not accept refunds buyer, my listings clearly state this and tells buyers to be sure of their purchase before buying.  They approved what shipping was, eBay calculated, so why unhappy now? If I approve a refund with return of the item do I just wait?

Request for refund

If you don't accept the return ebay will do it for you. Yes you are going to get these looser, but the idea is to win more than  you loose. Keep listing, keep selling don't focus on one bad one. In the end, did you make money? I look at my monthly total, and as sometimes I want to focus in on the one bad one. They are far and few between the good ones. Accept the return, refund the money, relist, move on.

Another thing, calculated shipping was an issue for me as well. Adjust your pricing to include free shipping, this takes that whole scenario out of the picture. Yes, this too is a win and loose thing. But again, win more than you loose.
