I want to purchase 7 items from a seller. I wrote her asking what would be her best price, she said she'd accept $100 plus $8.50 shipping for all items. I put 7 items in cart and asked for new total. Seller says she cannot change total. This was started 3 days ago. We've both contacted ebay MANY times, today I was on phone at least 2 1/2 hours. Still no one can help us. At one point the sales were cancelled (got message from ebay customer service they were cancelling on behalf of seller, I should contact customer service-I'm not on computer alot, just happened to see), and items were available for someone else to buy! I just want to buy, seller wants to sell. It's been 3 days now and so much time wasted by me and seller who has been great and has spent so much time on this also. Why can't it be done?? Any words of advise??

Thank you. Why ebay customer service could not suggest a solution over 3 days is a mystery. I've never been on a discussion group, just trying to do a good job here, be kind, treat people as I would like to be treated. I still don't know how to do this. I'm hoping my seller and I can come up with an easy solution that is not too complicated for her or me.

E$bay's CS and President Trump are so similar - both only say what a receiver wants to hear and never the truth. The answer will never be told. One can only assume they didn't know.
You would have been better contacting the seller first with the items you wanted to purchase and have them create a special listing for you. Item price(s) can never be changed once an item or items have been purchased - only shipping can be changed.
How much of a discount did the seller offer? If you factor in the seller being able to eliminate $8.25 in shipping/ if they give that to you as free shipping would that help or still be way off? The seller would simply eliminate all shipping and use part of the combined pricing of the items for their actual shipping costs.

I hear you and completely agree!!
Price is still too far away even if seller makes it free shipping, but appreciate your idea.
I feel better today, have taken a deep breath, but the last 3 days with ebay cs has been so frustrating. I am usually pretty calm about things, but ugh! After at least 10 hours with different reps CS said she could change total (which she can't)
One question tho, how would I find this discussion on my ebay account?I made it a favorite but can't figure out how I would be able to find it otherwise.
Sorry, I'm learning new things every day!
