Request for Clarification and Assistance Regarding Account Limitation

Dear eBay Support Team,

I recently received a notice stating that my account has been limited due to "suspicious activity" (Reference ID: e269647-1141983x). I am unsure of what triggered this and would greatly appreciate clarification on the specific issue.

I take the security and compliance of my account very seriously and am happy to provide any necessary documentation or take any actions required to resolve the matter.

Please advise me on the steps I need to follow to reinstate my account fully.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Kind regards,

Sorry, no one in this community can help with that. eBay is not here, so your post will not be seen or responded to by eBay.

Perhaps you should take a look at your seller dashboard, metrics and or your bad buyer experience rate. Those should give you an idea as to why you are restricted.

When you post a message here, you're not actually addressing eBay.  None of us have any idea why this happened.

I suspect that eBay analyzes billions of transactions in order to identify sellers that are statistically more likely to cause problems for eBay. eBay's risk assessment algorithm probably considers hundreds (if not thousands) of factors, and then assigns a risk "score" to each seller. If the seller's risk score exceeds a given threshold, they are restricted.

eBay does not explain to a seller in detail why they have been restricted. IMHO that is because eBay want to remove those sellers from eBay, not teach those sellers how become harder to identify in the future.
