Reporting unpaid item but my item number can't be found

Here's my problem. I sold an item on ebay but the buyer hasn't paid yet. I've contacted them 2x, giving them a week to pay but I got no response back and no payment. A week has passed so I went to report the unpaid item but when I enter the item number on the Report an Unpaid Item page, the database can't find it. I have the item number, referenced through numerous emails and the invoice, but when I go to report it, the item number can't be found.

I've tried contacting customer service but it keeps referencing back to the Report an Unpaid Item page. What do I do? I have a seller's fee for this item but if I'm not getting paid, I don't want to pay it.

I don't have any unpaid items at the moment so I can't check, but can you go directly to the item through "Items Awaiting Payment" and is there a drop-down selection for "Report a Problem" where you can select "I haven't received my payment yet"? 

Or, try the Help pages and type in "Unpaid Item".  That should bring up a list in picture format of all your sales where you can select the one that's unpaid.  That won't require an item number.

Not sure why it's not finding it if you enter the correct item number.  Maybe if you're using the mobile app to do this it's causing a problem.  Try it from the desktop version.

You only have 32 days to file an unpaid item dispute.

Have you tried filling the unpaid item case from the help page?  Then you just select the picture of the item to start the case within 32 days of the date of sale.

OP stated they gave the buyer a week to pay, their only active listing quoted was listed this morning.

I do see that you have an item listed for sale, which still has six days or so to run.

Did someone make you an offer on that item? 

Bottom line:  To the best of my knowledge, you have not sold anything, so it's hard to understand your message.
