Is there a way to run a report that will actually say what I paid for shipping each item out of my total profit for the item? It does it on the invoice for the item so it seems bizarre that it wont give you that information in the report.

Don't want to take responsibility for keeping your own records, eh?

No, it's called efficiency. I'm paying eBay a fee on every listing to use this website. A basic excel output that includes the date my item sold, And breaks down the cost for shipping and fees per item is not much to ask with the amount we all pay. eBay is recording all this info the fact that it cannot spit that information out to us easily is quite bizarre.
I want to work smart, I'd be able to work smart if I could get all the information of my sale from eBay spit out in a organized fashion and be able to quickly input my cost of goods.

I do this completely on my own with not a help from a single human being ever, so yeah I look for ways that I can use tools more efficiency to my advantage and not waste time. But go ahead and insult and reveal your unempathetic close-mindedness.

Never said anything about eBay giving me my own bookkeeping info. Just a report that includes basic information on my sales that eBay records.
Just wanted an export that includes all the information that eBay provides on the invoice for each item. Because I was manually typing all that info into an Excel sheet for myself and looking to speed up my process and not waste my time.
Other people in this thread were very helpful and I got an export that can help make things faster, unfortunately it's not as ideal as I would hope, but it's at least serviceable.

Yeah seems like a big oversight, the seller's hub Export is At least decent. Just seems super odd that it doesn't include the date. Can make due with it.

IDK what you are looking at. The reports that I can print from the previous information provided to you show dates. If you want to give us a screen shot, maybe that would help so we can spot how we can help.

No, I didn't say that. You said "... doesnt put things in order by date sold...". To me that is a sorting issue not the lack of a date.
On this report I get the date of the order and then along with info I use, there is a bunch of unnecessary info, I just hide those columns.

Im using the sellers hub since it actually gives me the breakdown per item where as the transaction reports page just does overall cost paid for labels unlinked to items. Unfortunately sellers hub export doesn't include date (see below), but its ok I think this will really help me out and I will make it work.
Thanks for your replys, I didnt know there was this export in the sellers hub and I thought the transaction reports page was the only option

The link I gave you in my last post is from the Seller Hub and I do get the date of the order. it is the report I've used for a long time. It has a bunch of useless info in it IMHO too, but the necessaries are there.

the report you linked to doesn't include the shipping I actually paid connected to each item. I prefer the export I did (via https://www.ebay.com/sh/performance/sales) , even if it doesn't include the date I'd rather have my actually cost of shipping recorded. Its all good I found the solution I need, just a bit frustrating that this export doesn't include date when it so easily could.

We seem to be seeing different things. The report I get from https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/report the first column has the date in it. Shipping is a separate line item from the order.

We're seeing the same thing, I just don't want the shipping for the item on a separate line showing my combined purchase of labels. I'd like to see it connected to each item. The one I linked to does this, It shows me my shipping cost actually linked to the item that it's associated with. I prefer to use this, even if it doesn't have the dates

eBay CS turned me onto this, so I could quickly see every cost associated with an item, order, etc. (especially off-site ads, marketing & promotions) without having to run and download a report.
https://www.ebay.com/mes/transactionlist?sh=true
Seller Central >> Payments >> All Transactions
Not as good as a full downloaded Transactions report, but good to have in your arsenal. It shows bulk batches of shipments listed, then have to open to see that item's order shipping cost (we ship multiple items at a time).
I apologize if someone already suggested this.

Thank you for the nice screen shots.
I posted the link to the Transaction report you are referring to a few times. It appears that is not what the OP is looking for.

@vintagevizsla There is one other report that you might like that shows the break down of the shipping and fees. It's a bit hidden away from the other reports so it's easy to miss.
Go to Seller Hub> Performance > sales
https://www.ebay.com/sh/performance/sales Select custom for the date range and then select download report. It will download as a CSV file.
The first shipping column is the amount the buyer paid and the second one is the amount you paid. It is a complete line item break down of the sale with fees.
