Repeat non payer, can I offer second chance offer?

Hi,

i previously asked on here about a buyer that had not payed on their last auction. It’s been 4 days and they haven’t paid on mine now.

I had a lot of bidders on item. Is there anyway to cancel that and offer to a second chance offer?

thankyou

Have you opened a UPI (unpaid item case) against the non-payer?

If not, you need to do that first. You can open a UPI 48 hours after an auction ends, then you can close it 96 hours later. This is the correct course of action to take against a non-payer. Not only will you be free of your obligation to that buyer, but they will receive a "strike" and if they continue to not pay for things they will find that they cannot buy from MANY sellers here on ebay.

As stated, you open an unpaid item dispute 48 hrs after the listing end, and close it 96 hrs after that.  That way, not only does your buyer get a strike, you get your fees back, and more importantly, your item is then free and clear to be re-listed if need be.

If you care to, you can alert the runner up that you may be able to send them a second chance offer and ask if they would be interested in that.  That way, if they are, they will wait and not buy someone else's item if there are others listed.

Good Luck to you!  If you want to avoid non payers, list fixed price, immediate payment required.  No more non payers.

Definitely add this ID to your blocked Buyers list.  And make a note from now on to add the IDs to your list every time you get a non-payer.  It will save frustration in the future.
