Hi @wooden_flower,
Regarding this conversation of yours excerpted from yesterday's Weekly Chat:

I don't know if this might work in your case, but as no one else in the Chat suggested this already: if you highlight the problem option with your cursor, then press Shift+Delete (hold down Shift while pressing the Delete key), does that work to get rid of the misspelled or mistyped choice?
That key operation does work for unwanted options in form fields with an auto-complete option, so I thought it might be worth suggesting here as well.

Hi @a_c_green,
This didn't work, but thanks for the suggestion 🙂

Oh, well, it was a thought... . I was reading the Weekly Chat some hours later with my Gin & Tonic and the idea just struck me...

When this happens on a phone, saying There's already a file with that name, first purposely misspell it, then go back and fix the caps:
1. BLue
2. BLLue
3. Blue

I think ac_green's suggestion is something that traditionally works if you want to remove an auto-fill option in a form field... this can also be removed manually within your browser settings. It's different from what @wooden_flower was asking about.
Wooden flower, there is a way to manage this, but you need to catch the typo at the time of creating the variation.
When you enter BLue as a variation but you do not save it then it will not be there the next time you go in to edit the listing.
So if you type BLue, hit the X to delete it from the variations and save the listing without that specific variation. After that you can go into the listing a 2nd time and BLue will not be there so you can add Blue.

Thank you! That worked. I don't know why I didn't think to try saving it after deleting to see if it would go away.
Even though the listing has been live for a while, it still worked to delete it, save it, then add it as a new variation.
thanks again!
