Re: No record of shipping label - Page 2 - The eBay Community

Strangest thing,

I'm more baffled now than ever. I got a package from a name and a Los Angeles  name and address turns up nothing but it was the same package I sent with just a new label slapped on it...not even opened (Ebay tape across the  envelope seal) no note, no explanation but, the earrings were inside, wrapped just as I had done them.

California is where it was  sent to.

If this was a purchase you mailed to a buyer, have you asked the buyer if she knows why it was returned to you?

Or, if she never received it, is she going to be opening an NAD case any time soon?

I'm reading this sentence multiple times and I cannot understand what you are saying here; can you try again?

Does it look like a USPS-printed label, or is it something hand-written? It sounds like the buyer eventually received it but is returning it to you unopened, which the USPS will do at no charge if the package has not been opened. If you can still read the original tracking number on the package, plug in the number at USPS.com and see what the tracking history shows you about its travels. If it was Refused at the destination, the tracking should show an entry about that.

The buyer messaged me 2 days after she should have gotten it. I asked her to wait just 2 more days, which she did. Then didn't hear from her for almost a week....said she'd been busy. So then I told her how to go about filing an INR which, for some reason, she has never done.

Figured I'd remind her that she should do this before the 30 days are up or . if she still didn't, just refund her..

Regarding the original  label....that was the beginning of the problem, as described in that first link.

New label on how it was sent to me is a standard First Class label.

Oppps...mistake...it was originally sent to Las Vegas, not Los Angles. Package came to me from Los Angles.

it sounds like you got your own package back.  maybe the buyer made the item get returned and you did not know about it

anyways I would just send them a refund and end it

if they want the ear rings they can just buy them again

I woud treat this the same way as if they wanted an address changed

I woud start from the beginning again with a new purchase

I would not refund the shipping cost nor the ebay fees.
