Relisting and Sales History

The inventory on a product went to zero, and the add got deleted.  I relisted the item and the add says that there is no sales history for this product.  How do I relist the item and still have the sales history from before the inventory quantity went to zero?

New listings or sell similar listings always start with zero sales history. Sales history isn’t carried over from previous listings. 

If you hade your out of stock turned on then you would have been able to just increase the quantity and preserve sales history. But since you deleted the listing that is moot.

This wouldn't have happened if you had your OOS (out of stock) option turned on.

That allows your quantity to go to 0 and still keep your listing open until you add more quantity.

NOTE:  When every you have 0 quantity,  the item is not searchable.
