This is the first time (since MP) in which I've had an INR claim so I don't know how long it takes for the release of held funds or if the release is automatic.
January 24: Item purchsed, BIN, IPR (<$70 total)
January 27: Item delivered
January 31: Buyer claimed non-receipt for item requiring my response by Feb. 3
January 31: Responded with tracking showing delivery "Your item was delivered at the front door or porch at 11:51 am on January 27, 2022"
Do I have to do something to end the dispute or will it end automatically? And if automatically ended, is it 4 days plus a minute after the dispute was opened?
Thanks.

This INR was filed through eBay not the CC company (charge back) right?

Yes.
ETA: So far. She also claimed (in an email) to have canceled yet there was no cancellation request. If and when she loses the ebay dispute, I might be watching for a chargeback. 😞

I'm thinking back a bit, but I remember it did not take long, less then a week and when decided in my favor funds were available within a day
If you have already supplied information and it states in progress then nothing you can do except sit back, enjoy and wait

Ooh!! I'm glad you asked.
Yesterday when I checked, it showed as waiting for the buyer's response.
I just checked and can ask ebay to step in, which I will do with tracking!
I'll update with outcome.

Okay, this is weird
I won the case as described above but tonight, in looking through my transaction, I found that the listing shows as "I refunded."
I'm not seeing that they've taken any money and there are no disputes on my dashboard.
This is what I'm seeing. Is this what it looks like when ebay issues a courtesy refund?
On orders page
^^^^This is on the orders page (with my notes)
Inside the transaction
^^^^This is inside the transaction.
Did they take the money back from me and I'm unaware?

Last INR dispute i could not escalate even after delivery, took over a month to close.
Also INR about 5 months ago - item was delivered and i did escalate the case, but buyer got refunded by eBay either way. I lost no money because item was delivered, but buyer got a freebie. Guess that's an incentive to open cases now...
I am guessing that if you escalate the case eBay may provide refund regardless if item is delivered or not.

That is really odd.
When you go to the transaction view and click on the $ amount for the sale, what does it show you under Purchase Details? Does it show a hold still on the money or refunded there? If not, would guess the Buyer contested and e-Bay offered a courtesy refund.

I don't see purchase details but I do see this:

Another update:
I contacted Facebook and as it turned out, it was a courtesy refund to the buyer and their wording on my account implied otherwise because of incorrect wording.
Phew!
ETA: I was so impressed with the speed with which I got a reply. I didn't expect to hear from them on a Friday night! I figured I'd have to wait out the weekend.

I suspect Ebay refunded her. She may have called in. I had a similar one several years ago & although I got an email saying I prevailed in the dispute, next thing I knew, they had been refunded. I never did get to the bottom of it, but I think they called in & Ebay gave them the refund after all.
