Refunding & cancellation Help

Hi there, 

I have had one big mesh with this order with the buyer. They ordered 40 models and magazines for around £140+  But PayPal or eBay had but a hold on it for at last 2days. I contacted the buyer letting them know the situation! But then they replied with this (I don't want it no more as it has taken so long and the delivery costs cancel my order now I'm cancelling the card payment)  I was so upset and frustrated as it took me 3+ hours to sort through all of my figures and magazines to get ready to post to them.  After spending all that time organising it all I come up with a solution so i messaged the seller to see if they wanted to do a deal with the delivery cost but then I found out they are going to Brazil to a different address. So I then cancel the order as I will not be covered if the item does not get to them but if they're not honest enough as it will be a different address from eBay's. So basically I've cancelled the order and it's saying that I need to refund the buyer by a set date. But will it automatically refund or will I have to do it through PayPal? What it is telling me on ebay is this (Please refund the buyer by 27 April. We'll then ask the buyer to let us know when they receive the refund.)

If you cancelled the transaction at the request of the buyer then you can simply relist the item again. Of course since you have all the items in one place you will not have to "sort through them" again. Your post is very confusing though. Hopefully you did not ship the item and then cancel the transaction!

If the payment went through on your side, you will need to refund it through PayPal.  Go into your PayPal account, find the payment and on that payment, there is a refund button, click it and the payment will be refunded to the seller.

If you are concerned about this buyer, you can then put them on your Blocked Buyer's List and never have to deal with them again.

I have not sent them to the buyer. I can not re list them at the moment as I have been waiting on the buyer to tell eBay they have received the refund so the items can be re listed. Taken so long.
