Refund for non-used Fedex Label ?

I printed a Fedex label from the Ebay interface but I never used it. I voided the label in the "Shipping Labels" page on Ebay , but I did not receive any refund, that I can see. When I go to tracking via Google, Fedex.com appears and states:

(Label Number) 

"Estimated delivery date: Pending

Shipping label has been created.

The status will be updated when shipment begins to travel."

Anyone know what steps to take to get a refund? Or maybe I am missing something. Would the refund appear in Paypal, or in Ebay, as a credit?

My understanding is that Fedex labels are not charged until the label is scanned, and the package enters the Fedex possession and workflow.

So, if you didn't actually use the Fedex label, then you would not have been charged for it in the first place.

Yes that is correct. You aren't charged for a FedEx label till it is scanned.

Thank you so much for this info. Yes, Looks like I was looking for something that is not there. I checked all the invoices, nothing was charged. I did notice a couple of Fedex fees for May and June did not show up until September invoice...

Does anyone know how to get insurance with Fedex? I thought I had insurance when I checked the insurance box on the Ebay interface (for another item), but Fedex says I did not have any insurance and asked me where's your proof? They make it impossible to file claim or file appeal.
