A buyer purchased items from me that I sold in one lot they received their purchase picked out what they wanted took pictures of the remaining items and state I didn't put them in the box and want a full refund.
If I video myself packaging all sells from now on will Ebay use that as proof I shipped the entire purchase?

No. Video will not help you. They can be faked. Just accept the return and refund when you receive it back. Report the buyer and place the buyer on your blocked buyers list.

Video will prove nothing, as you could have easily (even though we assume you wouldn't) remove items or change anything you wanted between the video and handing over the item. If you're Top Rated or otherwise meet the criteria, you may have the option to deduct up to 50% of the item cost if they return less than/different than you shipped them. Otherwise, you may be forced to eat the loss, because I've rarely if ever heard of eBay taking the seller's side in a situation like this.

It just sickens me to see this keep happening to sellers. Whatever happened to common decency
and honesty between people?

I wish I knew. Society has gone to hades and I don't think it will ever end. It just seems that so many people have a me first attitude and don't care about anyone else. Glad I am 68 years old and not a young adult.

I have opted for taking advantage of being a top rated seller and using the option to deduct the 50% on bogus returns or offsetting the cost of scammers. It has worked out, the only real benefit of being a TRS.

The amount of bogus returns I have had in the past 20+years is so miniscule.
I truly believe that the majority of people are decent an honest.

Hawaii, I too have had hardly any returns or scams in the 23 years I've been selling on ebay.
But, Apparently you and I are lucky.

The exact same thing just happened to me. It's out and out stealing and it's ridiculous. What bothers me is that my buyer told me she has a daughter. I can only hope that she isn't teaching her daughter that it is okay to get what you want on eBay and other sites without paying for it.
Up to this incident, I, too, have had very few returns or scams in my 25 years on eBay.
