I've enjoyed being a small Seller on Ebay for 12 years. It's procedures were simple to understand and use and things have gone smoothly for me most of the time. But, since the recent changes, I've had more issues with sales in the last 4 weeks or so than I've had in 12 years. This aggravation and difficulty may be what causes me to stop selling completely! It's something I enjoy in my retirement, earns me a bit of "pocket change" to supplement my income, and I enjoy the interaction with mostly good people during the transaction process. My rating is 100% for all these years, but because of these confusing new processes I may end up getting hits that affect my rating, and if so, I'm gonna be "outta here"! My philosophy has always been "If it ain't broke, don't fix it......"

I sold a item on the 14th, and my money is in the bank today. I've never had it take 10 days, I am on daily pay out.

I agree. I’ve been selling on EBay since early 2000’s. When they changed from PayPal, my sales have dropped tremendously.
As a seller, I sell to make a profit not to hand over or give the buyer the item(s). It’s been extremely disappointing. Plus, I’ve noticed many times, my listings are not getting the views which they should be getting. It’s almost as if EBay is taking my items offline. I know the items I sell & things that should have sold.
I may look for another site to sell.

I am echoing remarks from soh.maryl; I was just going to change some of my listings to Promoted Listings - they are now a flat fee (as opposed to a percentage) and are charged regardless of whether or not the item sells...this is simply not going to work. Just had this conversation with a major postcard dealer - although he was miffed about the categories...for those of us selling real photo postcards, it's very counter-intuitive. A warning to ebay...you are creating a reason for sellers to leave.

The changes have made sellers vulnerable to fraud. I have been "attacked" twice because I dont see a bidders details until their bid is the winning bid. Its not as transparent as it was and I may go the same way and withdraw. Its almost secretive now as to what is allowed and there are difficulties in asking questions

Bravo for your post - I feel the same exact way you do - I have been selling for over 22 years and pulled out this year due to way too many confusing changes. I was just researching to see if my thoughts were the same as anyone else. Thanks for the comment and making me know I made the right decision for me. In addition I also felt overwhelmed by some of the buyers dishonesty or games being played.
